Please note, it’s not uncommon for us to book multiple weeks or months in advance so be sure to plan your lesson ahead of time! Once your date range is sent in, you will hear back from our team within 3-5 business days to discuss availability on Dan’s schedule.

Have more than 7 in your group? Request a spot on our waiting list for Groups of 8 or more participants or we can happily refer you out to some of the best sand sculpture classes in our area. Are you a Corporate group? Contact Us for special group rates and scheduling.

Signing up for the waiting list does not guarantee booking requests. Someone from our team will be in touch with you within 2 weeks of your request to confirm whether or not the requested date(s) are available for your group.

Booking requests via our website do not guarantee bookings. These booking requests are simply booking requests you will be submitting. You will hear from our team via email within 3-5 business days to confirm the details of your booking. Receiving a 'Booking Confirmed' email from our team shall confirm your fun day in the sand with Dan! We appreciate your patience when booking with us considering our high booking volume.

Dan personally teaches every class, and we’ll work with you ahead of time to determine the best class format for your group, ages and number of participants. Once your details are finalized, we’ll send your final rate with your confirmation email so you can review the information submitted and make sure everything, including pricing, works for your group and budget.

Create A Castle Kit Options*
If you need more than 1 kit you can save, see our options below! Each pro kit normally retails for $50. It's important to note that our classes only require 1 kit for the lesson and if you have a larger party we can still accommodate you with a single Create A Castle Kit if so desired!

We try to be as flexible as possible and offer a variety of locations to choose from. ** Please provide the address where you’ll be staying or where you would like the experience to take place** If at a resort or managed property, please also provide the property name & address. **The Destin area is our home base, and Dan generally teaches along the coast from Navarre to Panama City Beach.** **Once you share where your group is staying, we’ll help recommend the easiest nearby public beach access for your class. Some accesses are free, while others may have county, parking, or day-use requirements.** Traveling farther? Just ask! Dan does travel beyond our typical service area depending on the request and availability. Longer-distance bookings are quoted individually and may require additional travel expenses and overnight lodging when necessary. *Other = Travel $TBD"

Dan Castles limits each scheduled lesson time slot to a maximum party of 7.

We are not liable or responsible for any lost property or damage to personal property due to water, wind, sand or any other natural elements while at the beach.

We are not responsible for supervising young children during the lesson. In most cases, our lessons are for children 6 and older unless it's our smash class program. Dan Castles strongly encourages parents to interact with children and the instructor during the lesson program to learn how to use the necessary tools. This way you can bring home the experience once the lesson has ended and you can build together as a family.

Dan Castles will not be held liable in the event of personal issues related to the sun. Please come prepared for the sun with the proper sunscreen and gear.

Dan Castles cancellation policy allows you to cancel up to 72 hours prior to the event. If a lesson is cancelled due to weather, you will be refunded in full if you paid for your lesson in advance. All refunds will be the same method of payment received.

Dan Castles reserves the right to cancel scheduled lessons at our discretion, due to any unforeseen issues that may arise. Lessons would be refunded in the event that Dan Castles has to cancel for any reason.

You agree that your email will be added to our mailing list for future news announcements and promotions with regards to Create A Castle. Any emails captured will never be sold to a third party service nor abused in anyway. All Create A Castle lessons require a Create A Castle kit and prices vary depending on the number of kits you choose.
