Our Options
We offer a wide range of options offering classes for groups of up to seven people, and specialty sculptures at nearly any price range. We operate in the area of the panhandle of Florida, from Navarre Beach, Okaloosa Island, Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Miramar Beach, Sandestin resort, All of 30-A, Inlet Beach, to Laguna Beach PCB!
Our classes come directly to where you are staying if you’re on the beach, or the closest public beach access if you don’t have beachfront property access. We will bring all the equipment necessary to teach you and every member in your family how to build a 3 to 6 ft tall sand castle. We will teach you how to use basic sand sculpting tools and then turn you loose on the towers to carve however you see fit!
We are currently the only sand sculpting program in the USA that offers how to lessons for Create A Castle, the 2020 International Toy Of The Year winner! With this lesson you can either bring your own Create A Castle kit or add on the option to include a kit! In no time flat you’ll look like a pro and walk away with the knowledge on how to build amazing castles anywhere you go with sand or snow!
OPTION 1:
SMASH CLASS
This class is a perfect fit for kids 6 and below, or who just want to destroy! We’ll show up with all the equipment needed to make fifteen to twenty 10-15″ (inch) solid towers of sand for them to do as they choose! Maximum of 3 participant’s.

CREATE A CASTLE
Our newest offering! This is it, the 2020 Toy Of The Year! We’ll give you the knowledge of how to use the product and leave with a pro kit! Build castles blazingly fast with this one of a kind product!

OPTION 3:
FAMILY CLASS
Come one, Come all! Lets build big and tall! In this class! All participants get an 18-30″ (inch) solid tower of sand to carve however they see fit! Build alone or with many members of your family in this class!

OPTION 4:
5-6 FOOT TALL CASTLE
Guaranteed fun! Build a five to six-foot-tall Sandcastle alone or with your family! This class isn’t for the faint of heart, building a big tower is a lot of work and we’ll show you how! We recommend a family class prior.

SPECIALTY SCULPTURES
Got a corporate event or something special you want built to announce a gender reveal for your future baby? This is the option for you! We do all kinds of builds and if you can dream it we can build it!

Are you ready to ask the forever question to the one you Love? We will make a 3foot x 3foot heart out of sand with Will You Marry Me and your significant other’s name carved into it in cursive! Additional options available!

ABOUT DAN ANDERSON
Dan Anderson of Dan Castles (AKA Dan In The Sand) is super passionate about his talent for building sand castles and loves spreading the joy of the art with others. Whether it’s teaching you the basics like water to sand ratios or doing more advanced tricks like archways or waterfalls out of sand, he will always make you laugh in the process. With more than 8 years experience of creating works of art in the sand, he’s always able to make learning the art of sand castle building fun! Not only is Dan a veteran of traditional sand sculpting, but he is also a certified sand ambassador of Create A Castle, the 2020 outdoor toy of the year and offers lessons using their molds. With many options to choose from, you are destined to have fun and make memories in the process!
